However, all images will be deleted within 10 seconds of being shown, and the developer of the app, Evan Spiegel, thinks there is a lot more to the app than meets the eye. Evan believes that Snapchat is an example of the kind of communication events that will grow from online interaction between people in the future. People are using photos on Snapchat to communicate with each other, showing each other places they are going or things they are doing. This is a broad difference to offline photos which are usually taken in a certain light to make those in the photo look more attractive or interesting.
